I was browsing some old CD looking for some photos and I ran into this series of drawings of Harry Potter. They are rather old, from when the first movie came out and they were done for a college class I had.
Back then I used to HATE the idea of Harry Potter because of his obvious similarity with the character from a comic book called Books of Magic which I was fan of. Don't ask me which one was first, I have no idea, all I knew was that the character was way too similar (in overall look, the stories are not that similar if you ignore they both talk about magic). Anyway, I made this series of drawings with traditional pencils and made a quick composition in Photoshop (I AM a Graphic Design major, so I had to focus on those things unfortunately) and it took like 3 hours to do everything last minute because I had done another series with irish dancing that I hated how they had come out so I decided a few hours before the deadline to redo everything and ended up doing Harry Potter just because the movie was coming out and he was a "big thing".
So, if you notice, he has no scar at all... because well, I made the drawings based on the few drawings I had seen of Harry and with the character from books of Magic in mind. I had not seen the movie nor read the Harry Potter books so I had no idea the scar even existed
Anyway, I'm just uploading them out of nostalgia, I'll send them to scraps later.
Traditional pencils scanned and edited in Photoshop.
