I made this quick sketch after reading my friend *jocarra's journal entry. I'm not exactly sure what she's going through right now, but I know that she needs some reassurance and a friendly hand so I thought I would make her ever-so-wonderful character Luke in a gesture of reaching out to her. I know Luke means a lot to her so I thought it was a fitting.

There are a lot of mistakes in the drawing and I could certainly polish it up a bit and who knows? Maybe I might make a more finished piece, but for me it was important to let her see it as soon as posible so she might somehow feel a bit better and I just didn't have too much time right now to dedicate to the drawing.

I wish I was a better writer so I could explain what I wanted the drawing to mean a bit better, but hey, that IS why I made the sketch, because I'm no good with words and I wanted to make her feel better =P

I still have to work on Luke's likeness... he's a tough one to portray...

And I think you did a wonderful job. To be perfectly honest, I saw the image in my devWatch before your comment or anyone else's, and I saw it and it hit me and I KNEW it was Luke... and the picture expressed/did exactly what you meant it to do.

ugh, yeah, I know what you mean. Hands are REALLY tricky, I had to do this one like 3 times to get it right.

Wow.. hes gorgeous ^^ I Love the outstretched hand, and his soft expression. I think you portreyed well what you sought to portray, Coco. *She snugs* your such a kind natured person. :) Im sure this will make her feel all kinds of better. And thats the way I am too.. with things, if I cant describe somthing to you in words, I draw it for you, instead. :3
